The High Bridge Pilates Teacher Training program is a springboard into your future career as a Pilates instructor. Our comprehensive course provides students with the skills and understanding they need to become accomplished, inspirational teachers.

You can expect to learn how to instill excellence and enhance the spirit of each individual you work with through our Pilates approach that focuses on technique, joy of movement, and creativity to help clients exceed limits. Our in-depth program stays true to the ethos of Joseph Pilates’ as well as his legacy teacher's original methodology.

Program Details & Pillars

Our curriculum integrates classical principles with functional contemporary science. Throughout the program, you will master:

  • Full Apparatus Mastery: Comprehensive instruction across Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Towers, Chairs, and Barrels.

  • Functional Anatomy: Deep dive into the theory and principles of biomechanics.

  • Special Populations: Adaptive training skills tailored for unique body needs.

  • Injury Prevention: Strategic mechanics for client recovery and physical safety.

  • Professional Composure: Cultivating the unique attitude, confidence, and presence of an expert instructor.

  • Studio Safety: Operational protocols to maintain a secure workout environment.

Tuition & Investment

Full Course Tuition: $5,950

  • Deposit: $2,500 due upon signing the Enrollment Agreement to secure your spot.

  • Remaining Balance: $3,450 due 30 days before the start of the program.

  • Photographic Training Manual: A comprehensive visual layout of the entire repertoire.

  • In-Studio Hours: All dedicated lecture and real-time training hours.

  • Studio Access: Use of the training floor for self-practice and practice teaching during specified hours.

  • Direct Access: Continuous email support to both program facilitators.

  • Certificate of Completion: Awarded upon fulfilling all required program hours and passing final test-outs.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

How long will it take me to finish the program and be ready to teach?

The entire program can take anywhere from 6 months to a year depending on each person's pace and availability to complete their hours.

 

I work full-time, can I still enroll in the program?

Yes! Our group training takes place on Thursday and Friday afternoon/evenings only. You can work on your self-study hours whenever there is available space in the studio.

 

Do I need to have anatomy training?

Nope! Our program covers the foundations of anatomy. We focus on functional movement and anatomy in a very applicable way. We understand it can be intimidating to learn something new, but we promise you can do it!

 

Do I need to take Pilates before beginning my certification?

Yes. We want to make sure you have a clear understanding of what you’re about to learn to teach. You don’t need to have extensive Pilates experience, but we do ask that you complete 10 sessions/classes before beginning.

Terms & Conditions

  • Deposits: The $2,500 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation or withdrawal. Your enrollment is reserved exclusively for you, and the deposit applies toward your total balance. Registration is complete only after the signed agreement and deposit are received.

  • Refund Policy: No refunds are allowed after the program officially begins.

  • Studio Etiquette: Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled. Be courteous of ongoing studio classes or private sessions.

  • Team Expectations: While completing your training, you are viewed as part of the studio team. We ask that you tidy up equipment post-training and assist teachers in setting up or cleaning up after sessions.

  • Requirements: A Liability Waiver and a Contract/Registration form must be fully completed.

  • Employment: Participation in the program does not guarantee a job at High Bridge Pilates.
